Tyler J. Hagler, D.M.D., M.P.H.

Born and raised in Charlotte, Dr. Hagler is excited to return back to the Carolinas to join Southeast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates. A graduate of Charlotte Latin, Dr. Hagler completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, and earned a master’s degree from Dartmouth College. He received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he first found a passion for surgery. Following dental school, Dr. Hagler completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Augusta University Medical Center. 

Dr. Hagler practices full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His clinical interests include full-mouth dental implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), facial trauma, pathology, and reconstruction. Dr. Hagler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of both the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Member of the American College of Surgeons, and is actively pursuing Fellowship status. He is a Member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Hagler is actively involved in graduate medical education, and has collaborated on numerous articles and book chapters.  

 

Dr. Hagler’s wife is also a Charlotte native. She is a Registered Nurse. Together they have twins, Brody and Harper, that keep them very busy outside of work.
